During the meting the numbers of the issues on the bilateral cooperation were discussed.
In particular the issues on the transportation of the natural gas through the territory of Ukraine to the countries-members of European Union were discussed. Borys Tarasiuk stressed that "Ukraine will preserve its guarantees of the safety transit of the gas to the EU countries".
The Chairman for the Parliamentary Committee has also stressed that Ukraine and Bulgaria have always been an important trade partners.
The chairman of the Sub-Commission on European Matters of the Bulgarian Parliament, R. Ivanov declared that "before the economic crisis the economic increase was seen in Bulgaria, at least for the 6% gross domestic product per year". According to him, the interest of the international investments in the country is caused by the membership of Bulgaria in NATO and EU.
